Canta Peppy, AQHA #2045687, FQHR #14258, NFQHA #F03429 Canta Peppy was humanely put down on July 24, 2006 When Canta Peppy came to us, clippers, blankets, and farriers, had not been part of his life. It did not take him long to adapt to life at Walton Farms, although he still does not grow a winter haircoat. Canta was first shown AQHA, retired for 10 years, and brought back out at the age of 14 to compete at the Second NFQHA show in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He placed in 7 of his 8 classes, including Reserve Champion Working Ranch Horse and 6th in Overall Versatility. His get are extremely athletic. They are clowns who like to play, but they also know when it's time to go to work. Many of Canta's get hhave that same glisten to their coat that has become his mark. Canta Peppy is 100% foundation breeding in spite of his flashy presence. He too sires consistency. His get have earned awards in a wide variety of classes from Halter to Working Cowhorse. They can go from the show ring to the mountains, packing game in the blink of an eye.
